Writing prompt from my favourite blog: Three Word Wednesday

Title: Once upon a time

Once upon a time
Impartial was a word used right.
Once upon a time
Unconditional was a word used wrong.

Now, we try to remember
New words, to replace old feelings.
Now, too much has happened
And we have forgotten.

Words, words, words
Glimmer and die a slow death.
And our eyes are left screaming
And exploding with unsaid words.

What do you do now?
What do we do?
Remember to forget
Or forget to remember?

Once upon a time
We had finesse,
Once upon a time
Our words weren't fatal.

Once upon a time
The end was a rarity,
And today,
Once upon a time is a rarity.
