poetry for thought

title: one year

sometimes, just when the sky meets the water,
some other times, when the water meets the sun,
i see you.
i see you staring back at me,
staring back at him,
staring back at her.
sometimes, just when the music hits your skin,
some other times, when the skin hits the knife,
i see.
i see your eyes,
your skin,
your heart.
sometimes, just when the song makes you scream,
some other times, when the scream makes you moan,
i don't see you.
i don't see your smile,
i don't see you,
but i see us.
sometimes, just sometimes, it makes sense,
some other times, i wonder why,
and it stops.

poems

Title: for C

Come on tell your plans,
your desires,
I want to listen,
whisper a yes and
maybe sometimes a giggle in your ear.
Tell me about that woman,
The other one,
Who holds your attention,
And I'll listen, patiently
Waiting for my cue to hold you.
Tell me about your day,
The mess at work,
The accident on the street,
And I'll listen, patiently
Waiting for my cue to kiss your forehead.
Come to bed, lie next to me,
Let go of reality and talk,
Maybe we can whisper,
And I'll listen, patiently
Waiting for my cue to sing you a lullaby.
And we'll wake up to warm sunlight,
Tell me about the dreams you had,
I'll run my fingers through your hair,
And I'll listen, and wait anxiously
For my cue to kiss you.

Title: crazy

Collar up,
Hair up,
Don't say baby,
Don't say maybe,
Don't say someday,
Don't be crazy.
Don't talk about touch,
Don't say goodbye,
Don't say you miss me,
Don't stop smiling,
And I won't say I love you.
Talk to me,
Write to me,
Sing me a song,
Ill tell you a story,
And maybe sing along.
Don't think,
Don't feel,
Don't look,
Don't want,
Don't need, fall, scream, smile or even cry.
Don't sigh,
Don't shy,
Don't be cute,
Don't say those words,
Don't leave.
Stay a while,
We can watch the sunrise,
But while the sunsets on our lives,
Don't worry,
Don't stop,
Fill your heart.
Breath a while,
We can just be still,
But it'll be only for a while,
Don't think,
Don't stop,
Feel it all.
Think of me,
And ill think of you,
But it'll be hard to stop,
So, don't worry,
Don't stop,
Fill your heart.
Calm and steady,
Your heart is strong,
It'll be hard, but easy,
So, don't think,
Don't stop,
Feel it all.
We can just be still,
But it'll be only for a while,
Then you have to go,
And I have to go,
But for a while,
We can exist.

Poetry

Ttile: drug induced

Sleep induced,
Dreamless anticipation.
Windmill spies,
Staring at you, watching.
Music pulling, pushing,
Spies still watching.
Windmill spies,
Drooling at your anticipation.
Wanting your emotions,
Wanting you to give in.
Spies planting seeds,
Waiting for your mind to grow.
Dreamless sleep introduced,
So the seed may grow.
It's a plot, for something bigger,
Windmill spies taking over.
Feeding you lies,
Telling you stories.
Making you want more,
Think more, feel more.
Feeding you hopes,
Making to crawl and beg.
Sleep induced,
Dreamless anticipation.
Windmill spies,
Still staring and watching.

poetry for thought

title: split

my dearest,
i have not written in a while,
but it seems to me that this may be a verse,
or maybe just words.
who knows what you hold in your heart,
who knows of the future that may change,
four lines,
with a comma.
at the end of which a full stop,
a period; as some say,
maybe ill include an exclamation,
just to scream out your name!
music fills the spaces,
monotony of a day that i do not adore,
men and women i cannot have,
those are the spaces i haven't yet filled.
my dearest,
find your heart soon,
hold it close, kiss and hug it,
for it maybe the only one you find.
i miss you,
and i dream of you, of your lips,
when i might kiss them again,
and i have written now.
written at your demand,
not knowing what i typed,
all i know is that this reached you,
all i know is that you may feel.
tell me your secrets,
spill out your deepest desires,
or maybe share silence with me,
but just let me in on your plans.
my dearest,
here you have my words to you,
split all over, at random,
what have you to say to me??

poetry for thought

title: boat man

I want to be like him,
The man who steers the boat,
So sure where to turn,
Where to find the dolphins.
I want to be like him,
So fit, so strong,
To make the ocean
His empire.
I want to be like him,
With a home,
With a family who waits
For his return.
I want to be like him,
A fisherman, a strong man,
Like a force of nature,
Charging into the faith of life.
I want to be like him,
Sure, real, practical,
Working hard,
With an aim.
I want to be like him,
Smiling through his pain,
The pain in his shoulder
From the years of steering.
I want to be like him,
Who knows nothing
Of physiotherapy
And painkillers.
I want to be like him,
With just one family,
One aim,
One life.
I want to be like him,
With one love,
And maybe some to follow,
One heart.
I want to be like him,
Who's first love is the ocean,
And second the world around,
And his smile takes over.
I want to be like him,
Calm, loving, caring
To the ocean around him,
Lusting its rage.
I want to be like him,
Lusting the ocean's wrath,
Its desire, its hate and love,
Its calm before the storm.
I want to be like him,
Him one with her,
Her, the ocean,
Tame to him.
I want to be like him,
Taming and calming,
Raging and soaring,
All at once.
I want to be like him,
Him one with her,
Her, the ocean,
Obeying him.
I want to be like him,
Lusting, needing her,
Her, the ocean,
Lusting, needing him.

poetry for thought

Title: paralyzed without you

Without a smile,
Without a kiss,
With a little bit of pain,
Paralyzed without you.
Without a touch,
Without a breath,
With a little sigh,
Paralyzed without you.
Without a tease,
Without a blanket,
With a thought,
Paralyzed without you.
Without the melody,
Without the lyrics,
With a sad, sad harmony,
Paralyzed without you.
Without a listener,
Without a voice,
With a voice whispering your name,
Paralyzed without you.
Without a stop,
Without a start,
With an hour,
Paralyzed without you.
Without you,
Without me,
With that ends the us,
Paralyzed without you.
Without the sky,
Without the earth,
With the in between,
Paralyzed without you.
Without you,
What will I do,
Only with the memory,
Paralyzed without you.
Without you,
What will I do,
All I have is the memory,
Paralyzed without you.
